Workers' compensation benefits for repetitive motion injury

Posted on June 17th, 2010 No Comments

When most people think of workers’ compensation, they think that it can only be received in dramatic, life-changing accidents but in reality, workers’ compensation can also be received from injuries that are sustained overtime from the workplace.

The day-to-day work can cause injuries such as asthma, carpal tunnel syndrome, and tendonitis.Workers’ compensation is designed to pay workers for lost wages or medical bills from injury or illness that is caused from work.

If you or a loved one has experienced an injury from repetitive motion at your workplace, contact the Pennsylvania repetitive motion injury lawyers of Lownethal & Abrams, P.C. by calling 610-667-7511.

Work Place Injury May Not Occur All at Once

Posted on March 18th, 2009 No Comments

When many people think of a work place injury or workers compensation,  they may picture a one time accident that causes broken bones and other injuries.  These accidents are unfortunate when they occur,  but they are not the only work place injury.

Many workers are injured by working on repetitive tasks or being exposed to conditions that can build up trauma over time.  The best example of this is an injury like carpal tunnel syndrome.  Other types of these repetitive injuries can occur by being exposed to an environment that incremental damage over time. For example,  a rail road worker has recently sued his company because the train he rode in was extremely bumpy and has given him health problems from the exposure to the constant shaking.

If you are a worker and are injured,  but don't quite know from what,  you may be a victim of a repetitive task injury.

If you or someone you know has had a repetitive motion injury while on the job, contact the Pennsylvania workers' compensation lawyers of Lowenthal & Abrams, P.C. today at 610-667-7511 for more information about our legal services.
